Baby Abortion among Malaysian Married Couples: Pros and Cons

Out of every 1,000 teenagers and middle age of women go for abortion in Malaysia and the rate of illegal abortions is 0.1% or 500 per 500,000 live births yearly. Harian Metro, 5 April 2012 reported in Ipoh, women who had their abortions may risk their life to become underproductive to pregnant again because when women make an abortion for a few times, the possibilities to get pregnant after doing an abortion again are difficult. According to Harian Metro (n.d.), an abortion which does not follow the right procedure may give effects to their health and also life. On the other hand, all creatures in this world were created by our almighty God. We cannot simply kill the unborn babies without any reasons. Have you ever heard that kill a baby is same as a murder? Even though it may be not fully formed, but baby in first trimester will feel the pain in a process of an abortion. Even though abortion is seen as the most controversial topic of all the times which usually considered as negative connotation, however, due to several reasons abortion might be necessary for some married couple when their spouse life is at stake due to their health condition.

Opponents of this idea might claim that abortion is a wrong action thing in terms of religious belief no matter for what reasons. According to the MyKhilafah (2010), in all religion state that God unity is reflected in equality and unity of human kind. Every people, has his/her own chances to life in this world. So, we cannot simply do the abortion. MyKhilafah states, whoever does the abortion to the baby which is 4 month of pregnancies, it is forbidden. Quran also warns the believer that he or she who does not involved in marriage and parenting without the right attitude. However, this factual statement might be inconclusive whereby the pregnant woman’s life is jeopardized. To begin with, one of the reasons why abortion among married couples occurs in the first place is due to their health condition. There are many women who suffer from hazardous condition such as heart disease, diabetes and also kidney disease (Linda Lowen, n.d.). Women who are getting pregnant at late age which is who are 35 years and above are risky in having syndrome-down children (Dr Nor Ashikin Ahmad Mokhtar, 2004). Besides that, there are many women who are pregnant at the late age because of several factors such as they want to further their study, they are among of the career women and late in getting married.

Those who are against this idea may say that abortion seen as a cruel thing that occurs in this world. According to Health Guidance (n.d.) state that abortion is about denying babies life. It is because they will abort the baby when the time is not coming yet which 9 months and 10 days. Usually they will do the abortion when the pregnancy is less than 4 months because the zygote is not fully formed yet. There are many methods to do the abortions such as by using suction in which the doctor will paralyzes the cervix first and by using salt poisoning (saline injection) states by Centro Anael (n.d.). On the other hand, many people will argue about this problem in order to let everyone knows his/ her view. Some people will say that abortion is not a crime because they have their own reasons why they do that and the reason is as a birth control. The Chronicles (n.d.) found that abortion is occurs because they want to spend a quality time with their family and the children that they already have. They also want to give a full attention to their children so that their children will be a good person one day. Women in the developing countries like Malaysia are very conscious in their career especially when they hold the position that a man always dominated. So they will be more focus on their work until they decide to abort the baby in order to give a full attention on their work.

Some people may disagree with this idea which is to abort the baby, because it will give an effect to them. Dr James (2003) states that women who abort the baby, they may in risk whereby they may get a breast cancer. A drastically drop in the level of estrogens released from women’s body can caused a discontinuance of pregnancy and this will happen because rise of growth in the number of cells in the breast tissue. This cell reduplication wills increasingly the risk of getting breast cancer. Women who had an abortion they are maybe in danger to get a breast cancer compared to women that do not make an abortion. Nevertheless, women can avoid from be the one who suffer from breast cancer with prevent themselves from do an abortion. Finally, the reason why married couples do an abortion is due to the baby’s condition. According to Abu Harith (2008) if the doctor was make a test to the baby and found that the baby are disable and badly affected, so the doctors will advise to do an abortion before 4 month (120 days). Sometimes, the baby has a probability to get an AIDS, that’s why married couple aborts the baby and it is allowed to do that. Some cases happen when they scan their baby using ultrasound and suddenly the baby are not moving and they can’t hear the baby’s heart pumping anymore. When it happen, that’s mean the baby was dying and it called stillbirth. (Dr Raja Juhaidah 2008).

The fruit of the womb is a reward. We should view our children as the only valuable properties that we have. We should appreciate gifts from God because every creature has their own purposes in this world to contribute. However it still has a person that do an abortion. Why they do an abortion? Is it necessary to abort the baby? No, God give a child to love and take care of them and not abort them. Cancer of uterus, infertility and bleeding are some problems and complication that affect women once they do an abortion. Even though people seen an abortion from the negative perspective but sometimes abortion is necessary for some married couple for certain reasons. They must to do an abortion due to problem in health condition, as a birth control and because of the baby condition. What do you think when you go to hospital to scan your baby and then the doctor said that the baby in your womb was died? Of course you sad will feel sad and disappointed. But, you have to abort the baby in order to eliminate the bacteria in your womb. Indeed, abortion is not allowed as it is unreasonable reasons if someone doesn’t want to take responsibilities towards the baby. Allah is very wrath of people who do an abortion without strong reasons.

Is it considered cheating when your partner (girlfriend / boyfriend / husband / wife) was checking on other beautiful girls on Facebook (poking, liking, etc) ?

The government is agree boy/girl cheating their partner in Facebook. Boy/girl cheating in Facebook because they are bored with their partner, want to find a beautiful/handsome partner, and culture shock.

But the opinion side are not agree when boy/girl online Facebook to cheating their partner. Their reasons are boy/girl online Facebook to get more friends, make a business, just for fun. They also said a couple must trust with each other.

The government said men are easy to work with and more creative than women especially when it involves group work. Why they said that because men are easy to tolerate, they are not to emotional which is they can control their emotion,  when study group with a man they can explain the detail point not like girl which is they try to memorize.

But the opinion side, they said women are easy to work with because they are more careful when do something, they don't like to do a work last minute, men are laziness and not confident, men like to talking nonsense thing, men cannot control their emotional.

ha let me tell you because i have learn it today...

every development must have a topic sentences ( what the paragraph is all about)

Format of a development paragraph

The topic sentences is followed by supporting details:

• To elaborates the idea further by explanation description, statistic and examples

       Children too can be protected with the practice of censorship. Everyone has to remember that television and movie theaters are not restricted for “adult only”. Children have a high tendency to imitate what they saw and heard from movies and television series. Vijaindren (2009) reported that many parents complained of the use of harsh and faulty languages the children picked up from what they watched be them cartoons or other so-called “children programmers”. She also gave few examples of children from using the four-letter words to even  a mutter to find a new parent when they are not satisfied with theirs. In addition, some “simple” scenes to adult can be very disturbing to children for instance the smoking scene. Parents educate their offspring that smoking is bad, but adults on television smoke with such ease and confidence. As a result of this, the children get confused. Another example of a disturbing scene is of course the exhibition of intimacy between a man and a woman which is forbidden in Asian culture in general.  The children will be  wondering why a parent turns off the television every time a couple is kissing. If the act is wrong, why do we have it on the television to be watched by everybody? Moreover, the parents sometimes are bombarded with difficult questions of this taboo subject since Asian adults are not very open when it comes to discussing sex especially with children. In finding main idea,ask yourself

you can find the direct MAIN IDEA,, for example:

This group is about attitude when shopping,,
i think all of you must open the plastic of the things that u want to buy
and sometimes you open that plastic but you don't buy it right??? i know..hihi
that's what Amer's group talking about,,they make a short movie like that,,

IKHWAN'S GROUP

This group make a movie about bonus that government give to workers,,
first,a group of women watch television channel Buletin Utama,,
and heard government will give a bonus to all workers,,
next day 2 women go to ATM to check whether they get that bonus or not,,
and yes,they get a bonus from government,,
this group sing a song from MAHER ZAIN-Thanks to Allah,,huhu i'm touch when hear this song


MUADZ'S GROUP

Muadz group make a movie about kidnap,,a group of girl student they decide to go home,,

one of them call a taxi and then a few minute the taxi come to take them,,

the driver are not send them back but kidnap them,,

a friend's driver call that the girl's parents to get the money,,

parents of the girls are so worried about them,,

next this group the end their movie and I don't know what happened next,,huhu

this group sing 2 songs which are LOVE U LIKE A LOVE SONG and WISH U WERE HERE

AFIQ'S GRUOP( the funniest group,,haha)

have u heard about vote?? ha this group make a short movie about vote for election,,
a group of girls are in the restaurant and waiting for a guy,,
and then that guy come and join them,,after that they talked about vote for election,,
not all the people in Malaysia can vote for the election,,only 21 and above can go vote,,
1 of the girl are 21 and the guy said that she can vote because she already 21 years,,
3 of the girls are 19 and 15 years and of course they cannot go to vote,,
they have to wait until their age 21 ha then they can vote,,
this group sing songs WE ARE YOUNG and LOOKING TO THE MOON,,
and why i said this group are funny because every time they sing only AFIQ sing with dancing,,
he dancing are so cute,,funny you know,,,hahahahaha
